    Beau is Afraid

Three-hour Ari Aster mumblecore film about how reality is a dream within a dream within a fancy within a reverie within a hallucination within a coma within an ice-cream headache.

My advice: show it to a pretentious, slightly dim 14-year-old boy who wants to go to film school, wears a trilby and a tweed jacket with patches over the elbows, and says words like “verily” and “methinks”. He’ll have a wonderful time.
